From Masks to Mirrors

This powerful message confronts us with a challenging truth: many of us are living behind masks, hiding our authentic selves from God and others. Drawing from 2 Corinthians 3:12-18, we're taken on a journey that examines how Moses veiled his face after encountering God's glory, and how that ancient act mirrors our modern tendency to hide behind filters, titles, performances, and personas. The central revelation is transformative—when we remove our masks, God's glory can finally shine through us. We're challenged to recognize that God cannot transform the version of ourselves that doesn't truly exist. He can't heal who we're hiding or bless who we're pretending to be. The message draws a powerful distinction between masks (what we show people) and veils (what keeps us distant from God), urging us to move from hiding to authentic reflection. When we look in the mirror of God's Word with an unveiled face, we discover who we truly are—royal priesthood, holy nation, beloved children of the Most High. This isn't just about removing Halloween costumes; it's about stripping away the spiritual disguises we wear year-round that prevent our transformation from glory to glory. The call is clear: stop performing for applause and start pursuing authentic intimacy with God, because our deliverance begins when we uncover what we've been hiding.
